Lineup for Tenacious D’s Third Annual ‘Festival Supreme’ Announced

Since Tenacious D are modestly referred to as the greatest band in the world, it goes without saying that their annual Festival Supreme is undoubtedly the greatest festival in the world (at least "west of the Mississippi). The lineup for the third incarnation of the comedy and music festival has been announced.

Festival Supreme will be held Oct. 10 at the Shrine Hall & Expo in Los Angeles. "As you can see, this thing is going to be a blistering night of creativity...it is by far the most spectacular little festival west of the Mississippi," say Tenacious D.

As usual, the lineup features a wide variety of musicians and comedians. On the musical side, some of the performers include the Darkness, Andrew WK, Rocket From the Crypt, Tenacious D and more. Comedians such as Amy Poehler, Jenny Slate, Aubrey Plaza, Super Dave Osborne and Finesse Mitchell will also perform.

The Kids in the Hall featuring Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney  Scott Thompson will be on hand. There's also a reunion of the original cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Presale tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, June 9 at 10AM PT through Wednesday, June 10 at 10AM PT (password: SUPREME) at this location. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, June 11 at 12:00PM PT.
