Hellyeah / ex-Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul recently spoke about a hypothetical Pantera reunion during an interview with radio station 97.1 The Eagle Rocks. During the discussion, Paul revealed that if a Pantera reunion were to happen, his first and only choice to fill in for his late brother "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott would be Black Label Society shredder Zakk Wylde.

"I spent two hours with Zakk, sitting down — a really great talk," described Paul. "I mean, [Zakk] and my brother were so tight. If [a PANTERA reformation] ever were to happen, [Zakk] would be the guy [to step in for Dimebag]. But I honestly think, out of respect for my brother, we should just leave the 14 amazing years Pantera had be. We're all happy doing our own thing. We have to continue living and do other things."

The drummer also spoke about the lost 'Vulgar Display of Power' track 'Piss,' which will appear on the 20th anniversary reissue of the classic album.

"I don't know why this song didn't make it on the record," says Paul. "I'll be totally honest with you… After I heard it, it, to me, had the same exact sound and vibe of that record, but maybe it was a little more groovy than the rest of the stuff. And when I say groovy,' I mean, when you hear it, you're gonna die because it's so amazing."

The 20th anniversary deluxe edition of 'Vulgar Display of Power' is set for release on May 15.
