It's time to get to know Oni, and the band just got a big lift over the weekend with a guest turn by Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe while performing at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest.

Though they played early in the day during the Knotfest portion of the weekend, the buzz surrounding Blythe's guest turn with the group helped to generate a sizable turnout with concertgoers. As you can see in the fan-shot footage above, it's a brutally heavy sound that Oni bring to the table, and Blythe was clearly enjoying what they were laying down. At one point, Blythe and vocalist Jake Oni can be seen simultaneously headbanging side by side.

Oni's Ironshore album is due Nov. 25 via Blacklight Media / Metal Blade Records, and it's expected that Blythe will make a guest appearance on the album as well. Oni will also have the chance to turn more heads when they tour with Children of Bodom and the Max and Iggor Cavalera Return to Roots on separate treks. So keep an eye out.

And stay tuned as Loudwire spoke with Oni vocalist Jake Oni at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest. The interview will be posted soon.
