After unleashing the audio for the track 'Cold Blood' a couple weeks go, Finnish cello rockers Apocalyptica have unveiled the official video for the song via Decibel that you can check out above. It's from their upcoming album Shadowmaker, set for an April 21 release.

Apocalyptica's first few albums were instrumental, including their 1996 debut which included all Metallica covers. In recent years they have combined instrumentals with songs utilizing numerous guest vocalists ranging from Corey Taylor (Slipknot / Stone Sour) to Brent Smith (Shinedown) to Max Cavalera (Soulfly / Cavalera Conspiracy) to Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil).

On Shadowmaker, produced by Nick Raskulinecz, Franky Perez is the sole vocalist. Cellist Eicca Toppinen says, “Having our singer with us for the last few months already made a big difference. For the first time, we couldn’t get enough from spending time together at our rehearsal place in Finland, but being in Nashville with all our instruments, Franky and Nick now makes us feel like little boys on Christmas … I’m sure this will be one of the best Apocalyptica albums and we can’t wait to bring it out for you to hear.”

Fans will get a chance to see Perez and Apocalyptica when the band hits the road for a North American tour with Sixx: A.M. beginning April 8 in San Francisco.
