Korn 2014 Mayhem Festival Documentary – Exclusive Premiere
The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival was responsible for making many memories this past summer, not only for the fans that attended the concert event, but also for those who took part. Korn are now ready to share some of those special moments that took place both on and offstage as part of a new documentary on their Mayhem Festival experience, and they've teamed with Loudwire to exclusively debut the film (watch above).
The band's videographer, Sebastien Paquet, let the cameras roll all summer long and the result is an all-encompassing film that not only covers Korn but also many of the participants in this year's Mayhem Festival. Members of Avenged Sevenfold, Body Count, Upon a Burning Body, Islander, Texas Hippie Coalition, Emmure, Trivium and more all make appearances in the film, some as performers while others share more intimate and special moments with the band.
You'll also see a number of radio interviews, motorcycle stunts, fan tributes, a salute to the military, a wedding proposal, a look at the day-to-day set up of the shows and appearances by the kids of the Korn band members as they rock onstage with their dads.
And yes, there's plenty of music. Watch as Korn cover Led Zeppelin's 'Kashmir' and run the gamut of their own catalog from the early days of 'Blind' and 'Shoots and Ladders' to the more recent favorites of 'Hater,' 'Spike in My Veins' and 'Never Never.' Paquet and Stati Hovartos are responsible for the filming of the documentary, while Zac Baird scored the film and Jonathan Davis offered additional scoring.
Settle in and enjoy this 50-minute documentary, which fully encapsulated the fun that Korn had on the Rockstar Energy Mayhem festival this summer. For some, it's a chance to relive those special moments. For others, it will be an opportunity to see some of the things you never got a glimpse at prior.
