The Bonnaroo Festival is back for 2014, providing a little something for everyone. And for those who like their rock on the harder side, there will be a few acts providing it for you.

The mighty southern metal masters Mastodon will make the trek from Georgia to Manchester, Tenn., to lay down some heavy sounds, and the timing is perfect as the band is starting to ramp up to a new album. A group with a little further to travel -- Meshuggah -- will bring their Swedish extreme metal vibrations to the Bonnaroo stage. And one of the most heavily hyped hard rocking new acts -- Deafheaven -- will rock out tracks from their critically praised 'Sunbather' disc.

There are a few other acts who lean a little harder though they also garner an alternative fan base. For instance, Jack White will be one of the festival's headliners. Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant and The Bouncing Souls will also grace Bonnaroo Stages. Bonnaroo will also feature such superstar acts as Elton John, Kanye West, Lionel Richie, Lauryn Hill, Ice Cube and more.
