Mayhem Fest in Connecticut – Machine Head, Butcher Babies, Job for a Cowboy + More [Photos]
Connecticut got rocked this past weekend as one of the summer’s biggest metal tours made a stop in Hartford. Fans kicked up some serious dirt while moshing outside in the lot of the Comcast Theater and rocking to the numerous band that graced the Jagermeister Stage.
When the “Machine F—-ing Head” chants started, the metal favorites took the Jagermeister stage by storm. Whether the group played a classic track like ‘Halo’ or a newer tune like ‘Locust,’ Machine Head fans unleashed all their energy throughout the set. With the amount of intensity the band brought, Machine Head’s performance rivaled the headliners on the main stage.
Other bands that graced the Jagermeister stage included Job for a Cowboy, who performed a crushing set, as well as the very sexy Butcher Babies and the forceful bearded goodness of Battlecross. The sinfully excellent ‘Spell Eaters’ of Huntress were the first act on the Jagermeister stage and had one of the most stunning sets both visually and sonically.
