Meshuggah vs. Cannibal Corpse – Death Match

Meshuggah vs. Cannibal Corpse
Nuclear Blast / Metal Blade

Meshuggah just claimed their third consecutive win in our Death Match by stomping out their latest competition, Deicide. The Swedish extreme metal legends are just one win away from having their track ‘Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion’ declared as immortal in our Death Match Hall of Fame.

First however, Meshuggah will have to run through their toughest competition yet – Cannibal Corpse. The American death metal legends just recently released a video for ‘Encased in Concrete’ from their 2012 album, ‘Torture.’ As fellow innovators, Cannibal Corpse are widely known as one of the main architects of brutal death metal.

Can Meshuggah put up one more win to secure their place in the Death Match Hall of Fame? Or will the monsters in Cannibal Corpse ‘kill’ off their rivals to blaze their own trail to the Hall? The decision is yours and yours alone. Vote for your favorite track in the poll below.

(This Death Match runs until Tuesday, April 3, at 10AM ET.)
