Three is a magic number! For the third straight year, Loudwire readers have voted Slash / Alter Bridge singer Myles Kennedy as the Vocalist of the Year in the Loudwire Music Awards.

Kennedy enjoyed a banner 2014, beginning the year touring with Alter Bridge and continuing the support of the band's 'Fortress' album. His vocals on the single 'Cry of Achilles' certainly rank among the year's best. But he also pulled double duty in 2014, sliding over to Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators by mid-year. There he added plenty of swagger, soul, aggression and just the perfect touch in the quieter moments on Slash's 'World on Fire' disc. Fans also got a chance to see how well things translated live as Slash's crew rocked dates with legends Aerosmith before hitting the road for their own dates in the fall.

Kennedy already has LMA wins in the same categories in 2012 and 2013. This year, he bested Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor for the title.

Congrats again to Myles Kennedy, the choice of Loudwire readers for 2014 Vocalist of the Year in the 4th Annual Loudwire Music Awards. And catch him on tour with Slash at these locations.
