Skillet are rocking radio with the new single 'Sick of It,' but now fans can experience another song off their upcoming 'Rise' album with Loudwire's exclusive premiere of the disc's title track.

The song 'Rise' is part of the band's first ever concept album. Singer John Cooper explains, "The narrative idea happened after we had 10 or 11 of the songs chosen. As we recorded them, we started to realize that there was something going on -- that the album was really telling a story. Realizing that, I knew we needed to make it as powerful as we could."

Cooper adds that the album is a coming of age story for a typical American teen who is trying to figure where he or she fits in a world filled with problems beyond his or her control.

As for the song itself, John Cooper, guitarist Korey Cooper (John's wife), drummer Jen Ledger and guitarist Seth Morrison hit on a vibe that's inspirational and triumphant. The lyrics spread the message, "It's time to change it all / Rise and revolution / Unite and fight to make a better life / Everybody, one for all / Sound off, this is the call."
