After Knotfest expanded to Mexico last year as a one day event, the 2016 edition of Knotfest Mexico at the Ford Pegaso in Toluca will take place over days, Oct. 15 and 16.

Saturday's festivities will be headlined by Avenged Sevenfold. Also on the bill that day are Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Meshuggah, Killswitch Engage, Chevelle, Sevendust, Hatebreed, DevilDriver, The Black Dahlia Murder, Alesana and Attila.

The event's namesake band Slipknot are the Sunday, Oct. 16, headliners. Joining them on that bill are Deftones, the Offspring, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Ministry, Iced Earth, Carcass, Animals As Leaders, Enter Shikari and Nothing More. For tickets and other information, go here.

If you're not able to make it to Mexico for that version of Knotfest, your other options include Ozzfest Meets Knotfest Sept. 24 and 25 in San Bernardino, Calif., or Knotfest Japan on November 5 and 6.

Slipknot are currently in the midst of a co-headlining tour with Marilyn Manson. The trek, which also includes openers Of Mice and Men, makes a stop tonight (July 27) in Camden, N.J. Slipknot will also be traveling the globe this year, including several October dates with Lamb of God in Australia and New Zealand along with shows in Peru and Columbia in addition to Knotfest Mexico and Knotfest Japan.
