Viral Sensations Steve ‘N’ Seagulls to Unleash Debut Album ‘Farm Machine’ in May

Their videos have received millions of views, and now the Finnish band Steve'N'Seagulls have scored a record deal. They'll be releasing Farm Machine, an entire album of their countrified covers of rock and metal songs, via Spinefarm Records on May 12.

"Finally it's complete!" the band says. "And the fruits of our labor please us. We are now preparing to take on the world!"

Their first video last year was a reworked rendition of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," and the world fell in love with their humor and unique musical take to the tune of 10 million plus views on YouTube. Their latest video that you can check out above is another AC/DC song, "You Shook Me All Night Long."

The clip is as zany as the band's glorious mix of country and bluegrass, featuring everything from skiing behind a farm tractor to the band taking on the Finnish women's hockey team in a game. Watch it in the player above.

Other videos Steve'N'Seagull have released over the past several months include their versions of Dio‘s "Holy Diver" and Iron Maiden‘s "The Trooper." Those songs will be on the album along with covers of tracks from Led Zeppelin, Guns 'N Roses, Metallica, Pantera and more. You can pre-order Farm Machine here.

The band is planning to travel to North America later this year for some shows. More details will be released soon.
