When Adrenaline Mob say they’re having an album release party, they truly mean party! Last night (March 12) the band took over Hiro Ballroom in New York City to celebrate the release of their debut album ‘Omerta’ which is due out today (March 13).

Adrenaline Mob features Symphony X frontman Russell Allen, former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, guitarist Mike Orlando and Disturbed bassist John Moyer. The band’s connection onstage made it clear that they truly have a bond and passion for the songs on ‘Omerta.’

They played the entire album and fans, who were about a foot from the stage, were diggin’ it as they sang the single ‘Undaunted’ as well as the band’s cover of the Duran Duran tune ‘Come Undone’ which features Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale on the record. Allen, who donned a classy black fedora, got emotional when he performed the tune ‘All on the Line,’ which he dedicated to his wife.

Metal mavens Iced Earth were also at the venue to show their support, not to mention they played a show with Symphony X just a few days before in New York City.

This multi-talented Adrenaline Mob pulled out all the stops: axeman Mike Orlando shredded to the point where he may have lost a few fingers; Moyer kept it groovy with his booming bass line; Portnoy’s drumming was as thunderous and precise as ever and Allen’s raspy melodic voice soared throughout the entire venue.
