Adrenaline Mob had a blast recording their cover of the Heart classic 'Barracuda,' and the second clip in our exclusive series of videos on the tracking of the song focuses on frontman Russell Allen and his experience recording the cover.

In the new video (watch below), Allen says of Heart's original recording, "Ann Wilson is one of the greatest voices of all-time. She's just an amazing, amazing singer and I look up to her so much and admire her. She really sings her heart out, no pun intended. She sings with so much soul, so to do 'Barracuda' was something that I was very, very excited about. I had a good time doing it and it was a lot of fun to do Heart and it was a privilege, so I hope everybody likes it."

As the clip shows, 'Barracuda' was definitely not a one take vocal for Allen, who was in good humor throughout the recording session and was definitely up to the challenge of taking on the track. The rocker does his best gecko impersonation, offers a little Broadway improvisation and generally seems to be having a great time putting the song together.

'Barracuda' can be heard on Adrenaline Mob's recently released 'Coverta' covers album. The disc is currently available right here. Stay tuned for more of our Adrenaline Mob 'Barracuda' tracking video series coming soon.
