Avatar's vultures are flying all the way to the Battle Royale Video Countdown Hall of Fame. The band's creative animated clip for "Vultures Fly" completed a five-week run at No. 1 and will now be retired undefeated. However, it wasn't exactly an easy final week. RED's "Darkest Part" video debuted on the Battle Royale in a big way, holding the lead in voting until Thursday afternoon. While RED didn't claim the top spot this week, "Darkest Part" is certainly a front runner for next week's Battle Royale.

Meanwhile, In Flames' "Paralyzed" put up solid voting totals to climb to third in the voting.
Halestorm's "Apocalyptic," which had been second the last two weeks, slipped to fourth place. And rounding out the Top 5 is the second big debut of the week -- The Darkness' "Barbarian." See all of the Battle Royale Top 10 videos of the week below.

So what will happen next week? With Avatar retiring, the top spot is wide open and there's six new videos entering the voting fray as well. Art of Dying, with an assist from Disturbed's Dan Donegan, return on "Rise Up." Nickelback get funky with "She Keeps Me Up." Memphis May Fire channel '80s hair metal in "The Rose." Sister Sin rock "Desert Queen." And upstarts Badflower and Mount Holly take their shots with the "Soap" and "It Ain't Easy" videos. See those clips, along with every video available for voting, by clicking on the links in the poll at the bottom of this post. You can vote once per hour through the deadline of Friday, March 13 at 11AM ET. So let those votes count as we crown a new Battle Royale chart topper.
