Female-fronted extreme metal band Wykked Wytch recently announced some sad news. Their former bassist Jeremy Deacon has passed away at the young age of 33 from lymphoma.

The band posted this message to fans regarding their loss:

"My Dear WW fans we just found out that our ex-bass player Jeremy Deacon from old days passed away from Lymphoma. He was only 33 years old and was a great friend and kind /gentle soul with great talent. I'm very saddened with heavy heart and shock!!!! This is the second member we lost from that era. Timur WW drummer was the other member died from suicide few years back. Very sad to lose a band members and friends who has made an impact in my life personally and for the band! Thanks for the great memories Jeremy, hope you find Timur wherever you are and jam WW tunes! RIP brother!!"

The band also posted the video below in his memory.

Wykked Wytch are set to release their fifth album, ‘The Ultimate Deception,’ on Feb. 14. It will be the follow up to 2008’s ‘Memories of a Dying Whore.’

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Wykked Wytch and Deacon's family and friends.
