On Sept. 13, 1993, Nirvana released what would become their final studio album, 'In Utero.' The influence of 'In Utero' and the rest of Nirvana's discography are still very present, and many celebrated rock and metal acts have teamed up to record 'In Utero: In Tribute' just in time for Record Store Day.
When Daughters were still an active band, they made one of the ballsiest decisions in metal history. Vocalist Alexis Marshall changed his vocal approach from harsh grindcore screaming to a style that can be accurately described as Jerry Lee Lewis on hallucinogenic drugs. However, the change was embraced by Daughters' fans, especially on their 2010 self-titled album.
