3 Doors Down and Daughtry are having such a good time on their co-headlining tour run that they’ve extended it for a third leg. The newly revealed dates kick off at the beginning of July at the PNC Waterside Pavilion in Solomons, Md., and continue through the start of August, currently slated to wrap up in Cleveland, Ohio, at Jacobs Pavilion.

When Loudwire caught up with 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold back in November, he told us that their co-headlining trek with Daughtry would be “a tour that is greater than all of its parts” due to the chemistry between the two bands -- he couldn’t have been more correct.

3 Doors Down and Daughtry, currently out on a co-headlining tour through the middle of December, have just announced a new leg of dates to ring in the new year. Fifteen new shows have been added to the tour with dates kicking off on Jan. 25 in Dallas and running through Feb. 23 in Clearwater, Fla.

In conjunction with their upcoming greatest hits disc due out this November, 3 Doors Down will spend the majority of the winter months out on a run of co-headlining U.S. tour dates with Daughtry. The trek kicks off  on Nov. 17 in Tunica, Miss., and is scheduled to wrap on Dec. 15 in Anaheim, Calif.

Chris Daughtry made a sizable chunk of change after the wildly popular reality competition 'American Idol' launched his career in 2006. Now the members of his former band Absent Element are seeking royalties for music they claimed to have penned with Daughtry that he later released as a solo artist.

Daughtry’s new disc, ‘Break The Spell,’ came out this week. To celebrate the release, the band dropped by ‘VH1’s Top 20 Countdown’ for an intimate acoustic performance.

With his freedom intact and his name out there courtesy of the smash hit TV show, Daughtry released his debut self-titled album in 2006 to massive success. Now, five years later, the rocker and his band Daughtry return with their third studio album titled ‘Break the Spell.’
