The Metal Alliance tour is quickly becoming one of the most essential metal experiences in North America. Last year, the tour was heavy on thrash, but in 2014, the theme is black metal. Behemoth have just been announced as the tour's headlining act with Goatwhore, 1349, Inquisition and Black Crown Initiate supporting.

This will be the fourth installment of Metal Alliance, the annual tour continuing strong into 2014. Behemoth's 10th studio album, 'The Satanist,' will be released right in time for the Polish black metal band to perform new tracks on Metal Alliance.

"We are immensely proud to be headlining the Metal Alliance Tour," says Behemoth frontman Nergal. "It's a privilege and we're going to make sure that this tour and "The Satanist" that Behemoth is making an ultimate statement! It has been a long trek from when we landed in U.S. for the first time in 2003. It took us a decade to get to this place we are now. We are coming back, more determined and hungrier than ever, ready to reclaim the throne!"

Metal Alliance organizer Dan Rozenblum says, “This tour is no exception for our love of all things heavy.” Adds co-organizer Steve Seabury, “This tour is for metal fans by metal fans. This bill explores our appreciation for the dark and black side of metal. Behemoth have been a favorite of ours and we are stoked to have them headline the fourth edition of the Metal Alliance Tour!”
