On the last day of Rock on the Range 2015, the festival’s Main Stage saw some heavy hitters all throughout the day.

Linkin Park headlined the day with a huge set that began with an old favorite, “Papercut.” Fans lost their minds to another notable track “One Step Closer” from the album that started it all, Hybrid Theory. They also performed newer songs “Rebellion” and “A Line in the Sand” off of their latest effort The Hunting Party.

Linkin Park are one of the biggest rock bands out there today and their fearlessness in their live performance is one of the many reasons why they are able to reach such a wide variety of people.  A very cool part of the set was their live debut of their cover of “Darker Than Blood” originally by Steve Aoki.

The night ended with notable tracks “What I’ve Done” and “Bleed It Out” to round out this year’s Rock on the Range. Linkin Park are also one of the headliners for the Loudwire Music Festival. Go here for more details!

Rise Against took the stage beforehand for a high energy set. They began with a one-two punch as they performed “Ready to Fall” and “Give It All.” The band also tugged at the heart strings of Ohio natives as they performed their rendition of the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tune “Ohio.” With high kicks onstage and serenading their fans in the crowd, Rise Against ended their set with the fan favorite “Savior.”

Danish metal band Volbeat never disappoint when they hit the stage. They’re no strangers to Rock on the Range and fans gave them a warm welcome as they performed “Hallelujah Goat,” “Sad Man’s Tongue” and “Still Counting” just to name a few. Volbeat fans were also excited to hear a brand new song, and even though we don’t have a title for it yet, we can’t wait for brand new material from the band!

Frontwoman Lzzy Hale belted out “Love Bites (So Do I)” and “Freak Like Me” to kick off Halestorm’s set. With their new disc Into the Wild Life, the band performed fresh tracks “I Am the Fire,” “Scream,” “Mayhem,” “I Like It Heavy” and “Apocalyptic.” The band will continue to support the new release with North American tour dates for the rest of May and June. You can also catch Halestorm at the Loudwire Music Festival in June.

Anthrax hit the stage earlier in the day for a set that was much too short. The Thrash metal icons cranked out anthems “Caught in a Mosh,” “Antisocial” and “Indians” which sent die-hard fans into a frenzy.

Frontman Joey Belladonna had more energy than vocalists nearly half his age who performed during the day while the rest of the band completely obliterated the stage. Anthrax are headliners in their own right and gave one of the best performances of the entire festival.

Taylor Momsen and the rest of The Pretty Reckless rocked out with their melodic yet catchy track “Follow Me Down” to begin their set. The sultry singer also crooned to fans as she sang favorites “Going to Hell” and “F---ed Up World.”

Hollywood Undead kicked things off on the main stage for a lively and fun set. Whenever Hollywood Undead take the stage, the madness ensues and the party starts.
