Bobbie Brown, the ex-wife of late Warrant vocalist Jani Lane and music video actress best known for her sultry appearance in the band's iconic "Cherry Pie" clip, is releasing her second autobiographical book this summer.

Cherry on Top, the follow-up to Brown's memoir Dirty Rocker Boys, "tackles beauty, dating, friendship, motherhood and sex for the single woman from the perspective of one who has seen and done it all—or so she thought."

As recently touted by Brown on her Instagram, the new book is due July 9. Here's the synopsis for the forthcoming Cherry on Top: Flirty, Forty-Something and Funny as Fuck, as shown on publisher Rare Bird Books' website:

"After the publication of her Sunset Strip memoir Dirty Rocker Boys, 'Cherry Pie' video vixen, model and serial star dater Bobbie Brown found herself inundated by emails from women of all ages, especially women in their 40s. They asked how she stays looking so young, her sex tips, and shared their own stories about recovery from drug addiction, toxic relationships and motherhood. They begged her for a second book in which she could answer their questions on what it means to be a bad-ass, independent woman on the dating scene today—giving rise to this book Cherry on Top."

The book news comes after Warrant drummer Steven Sweet was reported to be battling prostate cancer. The band set up a GoFundMe page to help partially cover the costs of the percussionist's medical treatment. Sweet recently revealed that he is now cancer free and ready to return to touring as of March 15.
