We had a chance to sit down with Emmure vocalist Frankie Palmeri recently, and he graciously agreed to play a game of 'Would You Rather?' with us. During the course of the game, Palmeri touched on the financial struggles of being a musician, music icons he'd like to hang with, why he would want to see Emmure in the '80s and more. Check out our latest installment of 'Would You Rather?' featuring Emmure's Frankie Palmeri:

Would you rather be really late for a show or mess up onstage?

I would rather be late. I am really hard on myself so if I screw up onstage. It will bother me for the rest of the night or until I get drunk enough to forget.

Would you rather have a massive bank account or a massive fan base?

The words "Doing it for the money is never a good reason" seem to be coming up more recently in my life. But I have been doing this for over a decade now and it's really disheartening that I can barely afford to keep an apartment and have a real life because I spend all my time on the road to even make a dime. But without the fans there would be no revenue. It's a great feeling to be recognized for what you do but it's a s----y feeling to have to couch surf because you can't even afford a one bedroom apartment.

Would you rather tour with a band you didn’t respect or tour with a band that didn’t respect you?

I don't even care either way. Truthfully my respect is given to people who earn it. And if people don't respect me and my band but are on my tour or vice versa I can't say it's something I would pay much mind to.

Would you rather have lunch with a music icon who has passed or a present musician who will be an icon in the future? (Who would it be and why?)

I would like to have a beer with Seth Putnam [of A.C.] or G.G Allin...those guys were on the level.

Would you rather be an '80s rock band in present day or would you rather be Emmure in the '80s?

I think being Emmure in the '80s would be f----g awesome because then doing drugs and being a f-----g lunatic wouldn't be so looked down upon. Everyone is so f----g PG and safe. I hate everyone these days.

Thanks to Frankie Palmeri for playing 'Would You Rather?' Pick up Emmure’s latest album, ‘Eternal Enemies,’ at iTunes, and check out their upcoming tour dates here.
