Former Guns N’ Roses Drummer Steven Adler’s Mother Set To Release Tell-All Book
Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler has had his share of ups and downs throughout his career. From his tumultuous split with the legendary band to battling drug abuse throughout his life it's been quite a roller coaster ride and now, someone very close to the drummer has chronicled his entire journey from her personal view.
According to Blabbermouth, on August 28, Adler’s mother Deanna Adler, plans to release a new tell-all book dubbed ‘Sweet Child of Mine: How I Lost My Son to Guns N’ Roses’ that will discuss Adler’s rise and fall from her perspective. The book gives a mother’s take on watching her son become a member of one of the most iconic rock bands of all time and the self-destruction that followed.
The book is being called a “universal journey of a mother's devotion to her child, filled with moments of both profound joy and crippling heartache.” Deanna speaks out about Adler’s troubled youth, his rise to fame, and his very public battle with addiction. In addition, she talks about the overall impact from his “legal battles, financial ruin, two heart attacks, multiple suicide attempts, a debilitating stroke, and numerous stints in rehab.”
Although no word from Adler himself on whether or not he endorses the book, pre-orders are being taken that include autographed copies by both Deanna and Steven, hinting that he's on board.

Adler and Guns N' Roses were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in April of this year.
