Kylesa Announce 2013 North American Tour with Blood Ceremony, White Hills + Lazer/Wulf

Fully baked sludge merchants Kylesa have announced plans for a 2013 summer trek. Kylesa's 'Ultraviolet 2013 Summer Tour' will invade North America for a period of six weeks, taking the bands Blood Ceremony, White Hills and Lazer/Wulf along for the ride.

Kylesa have been building underground cred for well over a decade, releasing five studio albums, five EPs and three splits during their career, along with the experimental compilation 'From the Vaults, Vol. 1.' With the upcoming full-length 'Ultraviolet' set for release on May 28, Kylesa fans are ready for and drooling at the thought of experiencing the band live in 2013.

“It’s been a while since we’ve done a headlining tour in the US or Canada," says guitarist / vocalist Laura Pleasants. "We are looking forward to doing a proper tour supporting 'Ultraviolet'. It will be good to see friends and fans (old and new) and hit these once familiar landscapes again. I think the package will deliver the goods as well; a little mix in the stew for everyone who digs our sound.”

Kylesa busted out the awesome track 'Unspoken' last month, along with the more doomy offering 'Quicksand' just a few days ago via Spin.
