Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, who many credit as the catalyst in bringing the band to legendary status, will not be joining the band at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, it has just been revealed.

According to Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, their April 14 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction will include former members of the band, however, erstwhile guitarist John Frusciante will not be one of them.
