Now that Falling In Reverse have become Cage Match Hall of Famers with five straight wins, it’s time for two new challengers to enter the matchup.

Candlelight Red enter the match with ‘Closer’ off of their debut album ‘The Wreckage.’ The band was chosen by none other than KISS as the winner of 2010’s National Guitar Center Onstage Contest. Candlelight Red are about to wrap up a tour with Sevendust, Eye Empire and Seven Day Sonnet; for more tour information, go here. And check out our interview with Candlelight Red guitarist Jeremy Edge.

Kyng exploded onto the scene with their heavy hitting single ‘Falling Down’ off their debut album ‘Trampled Sun.’ The band is still on the road after nonstop touring this year and they are getting ready for a huge trek next year with Trivium and In Flames. Check out Loudwire’s interview with Kyng frontman Eddie Veliz.

Rules of Cage Match:

There are no rules … except this one: If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight cage matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
