Papa Roach, Seether, Kyng + Islander Invigorate New York City With Sweaty Rock Show
Papa Roach took hold of a New York City crowd along with Seether, Kyng and Islander for a lively night of music to say the least. Rock fans packed in for an unforgettable show at the popular rock venue Terminal 5.
Papa Roach played a forceful, sweat-filled set. The group is touring in promotion of their brand new album ‘F.E.A.R.' and introduced such new tracks as 'Face Everything and Rise' and ‘Broken As Me' into their set. We can count on them working more new music into sets as they continue to tour throughout 2015.
With eight studio albums and well over 15 years, Papa Roach have plenty to choose from when it comes to playing for crowds. You could spot audience members crowd surfing to favorites like ‘Between Angels and Insects,’ ‘Broken Home’ (with an intro of Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’), 'Infest' and numerous others. Jacoby Shaddix and the gang ended their incredible set with the one that started it all for them -- ‘Last Resort.’
Seether took the stage beforehand for vibrant set. The band cranked out a lot of hits, including standouts like ‘Rise Above This,’ ‘Fine Again,’ ‘Broken’ and ‘Tonight’ as well as the more upbeat tracks ‘Country Song,’ ‘Fake It’ and ‘Remedy.’ Seether filled Terminal 5 with infectious melodies, bright light and an unforgettable performance.
California rock trio Kyng started their set with ‘In the Land of Pigs,' followed by other new songs ‘Electric Halo’ and the title track from their 'Burn the Serum' album. They also rocked New York with an awesome cover of the Van Halen classic ‘Hot for Teacher.’
South Carolina upstarts Islander kicked off the night with an energetic performance. The blood was pumping early on with ‘Lucky Rabbits,’ ‘Coconut Dracula’ and ‘Criminals.’ Vocalist Mikey Carvajal made his way into the crowd and serenaded fans up close and personal.
