Reunited and it feels so good. Pepper Keenan is back with Corrosion of Conformity and they played to a packed house at Gramercy Theater in New York City.

The band pulled no punches as they set things off with “These Shrouded Temples” and “Broken Man.” The energy and comradery of Corrosion of Conformity onstage is unquestionable. The warmth of their fans is just as absolute especially during the performance of “Albatross” and “Stonebreaker.”

At age 48, Keenan was rocking out as if he was a teenager and it’s that same spirit that causes fans to gravitate towards him whether he’s in CoC or Down. With the trek being dubbed the “Deliverance Revival Tour,” the band cranked out favorites from the 1994 Deliverance album as fans sang out loud to “Señor Limpio” and “Clean My Wounds.”

Hailing from Palm Desert California, Brant Bjork filled Gramercy Theater with their heavy groovy sound as they took the stage beforehand. Other supporting acts who rocked fans included fellow California rockers Saviours and talented Texas trio Mothership.
