Death were one of the most legendary bands in the history of extreme metal. Fronted by the late Chuck Schuldiner, Death are widely known as the first death metal band and the most influential act within the genre. Just over 10 years after the passing of Schuldiner from brain cancer, seven former members of Death will embark on a charity tour under the moniker 'Death to All.'

Death to All will be comprised of guitarists Paul Masvidal ('Human'), Shannon Hamm ('The Sound of Perseverance') and Bobby Koelble ('Symbolic') alongside bassists Steve DiGiorgio ('Human' / 'Individual Thought Patterns') and Scott Clendenin ('The Sound of Perseverance'). Death to All will also include drummers Sean Reinert ('Human') and Gene Hoglan ('Individual Thought Patterns'), along with various special guests.

The handful of Death to All dates will serve as a celebration of Schuldiner and as an awareness campaign for Sweet Relief, a charity that strives to aid touring musicians with their medical expenses. Schuldiner's commitment to music left him without medical insurance, which ultimately contributed to his tragic demise. Sweet Relief aims to support musicians like Schuldiner, so they can pursue their dreams with peace of mind.

A portion of the Death to All manifesto reads, "This is not a "reunion," but a show of respect for someone who have his life to music, a founding father of a genre. If but for a moment we can close our eyes, bang out heads and remember the very few men who helped to create such an amazing style of music, celebrate life with Death. This is about protecting out artists, out music and a lifestyle! Metal is and has always been about supporting each other."
