Glenn Danzig was set to deliver his ‘Legacy’ career-spanning set last night at the 2012 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival covering his music from all eras from Danzig to Samhain to Misfits, but the show would not go down without a hitch.

Soon after his set kicked off at 7PM PST at ‘That Tent’ the singer jumped off the stage to take care of some business. According to Rolling Stone, “The famously muscle-bound punk and metal singer, apparently leery of having his picture taken, jumped off the side of the stage to physically confront a press photographer.”

Danzig, who notoriously does not like to have his photo taken, rarely allows concert photographers to cover his set. Apparently security had to intervene and an angry Danzig took off to his dressing room.

No word yet from the impacted photographer or the severity of the situation but we can’t imagine an angry Glenn Danzig is something you want to see coming your direction, definitely an unfortunate turn of events.

Danzig eventually returned to the stage and played what Rolling Stone called “the loudest show of the festival so far.”

This is not Danzig's first festival faux pas. Back in November, Danzig had some problems with his appearance at Fun fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas as well. According to organizers, Danzig allegedly would not take the stage because it was too cold. He eventually warmed up and played an abbreviated set.
