Loudwire readers, we've got a treat for you as the one and only Zakk Wylde will be joining moderator Ryan J. Downey for the latest Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music and Loudwire Conversation series on May 24 at 8PM PT.

This special event will take place at the MI Concert Hall in Los Angeles (that's at 1655 N. McCadden Place, Los Angeles, CA 90028 for the locals), and comes at a very prolific period for Wylde, who is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Black Label Society's Sonic Brew album, giving the classic release a fresh "blend" for 2019.

In the lead up to the special edition album release, Black Label Society have revisited the song "Spoke in the Wheel" and most recently delivered an outrageously bizarre new video for "Bored to Tears."

On top of that, Wylde has appeared with King's X's Dug Pinnick and rapper-turned-rocker Ice-T in the all-star collaborative effort "Un-Natural Disaster," spent time playing on the Generation Axe tour with some of rock's finest guitarists and yes, returned to play guitar for the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne.

Wylde's gregarious personality and storytelling as a man who's been in the industry and played with many of the greats should provide a wealth of material for Downey to cover during this special event.

It is free to attend, but you must RSVP ahead of time. Simply head over to Zakk.Eventbrite.com and use the code: BLS in order to make your reservation for this Conversation Series event.

Zakk will be back out on tour with Black Label Society starting with a May 4 appearance at Jacksonville, Florida's Welcome to Rockville. See all his tour dates here.
