Metallica Book 2017 / 2018 European Tour Dates With Kvelertak
Good news, European thrashers! Metallica's 'WorldWired' tour is coming to Europe later this year and with another heavy dose of dates starting in early 2018! The band promised they'd be touring heavily in support of Hardwired... To Self-Destruct and with another 38 stops added to their routing, they've made good on their word.
The European trek will launch in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Sept. 4 with another performance in the city two days later. Metallica will be making back-to-back appearances in several cities, proving the demand for the world's biggest metal band is still on the uptick. Support will come from Norway's Kverlertak, who play an eclectic brand of rock-enthused, punked-up extreme metal.
Legacy Met Club members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance on March 21 at 10AM CET. Fifth Members will be able to snatch their pre-sale tickets one hour later and the general public can get theirs on March 24. The pre-sale will expire on March 22 at 10AM CET or sooner if tickets run out.
All ticket purchases made through official outlets will include the option of a standard physical or digital copy of Hardwired... To Self-Destruct. Information on how to redeem the album will be sent to the buyer's email address following the ticket purchase.
The band has partnered with CID Entertainment to offer three additional ticketing options, including "premium tickets and amenities ranging from early access to the venue and the 'Memory Remains' exhibit of memorabilia to meeting some of [the band]." For more information, head to Metallica's website.
Before heading to Europe, Metallica will tour North America with Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat and Gojira providing support on select dates. Before grabbing your Metallica tickets, check out 2017 Guide to Rock + Metal Tours for a list of all stops and further details on the support acts.
