Gonna take a road trip? Might we suggest Geoff Tate as a travel companion! He's seems to not get phased by anything. In the video for Operation: Mindcrime's new song "Burn," Tate has the busiest limousine ever and he seems like a pretty accommodating host.

Jamie Burton Chamberlin shot the video, which finds Tate sharing the back seat with various members of his band along with numerous colorful personalities. From a machine gun toting thug to a woman about to give birth, Tate takes it all in stride. There's even a twerking woman, a limber dancer and some female hippies who all join in the ride.

You might notice some familiar faces in the video, as Tate's Operation: Mindcrime band features Disturbed bassist John Moyer, drummers Simon Wright and Brian Tichy, keyboardist Randy Gane, guitarists Kelly Gray and Scott Moughton. Megadeth's David Ellefson and Candlebox's Scott Mercado are not in the video, but they do make guest appearances on Operation: Mindcrime's new disc.

"Burn" is featured on the new album The Key from Operation: Mindcrime. The disc drops on Sept. 18 through Frontiers Music and has already yielded a video for "Re-Inventing the Future." In addition, snippets of "Life or Death?" and "The Fall" have surfaced online. Get a listen here. The Key is currently available to pre-order via Amazon.

The Key is the first part of Operation: Mindcrime’s trilogy project, which Tate started in 2014. He explained, “I tried to reduce the story and eventually got it down to 37 ideas that need representing to complete the story. I knew that one record wouldn’t cover it and that it would have to be a trilogy.” Tate added, “I think fans will continue to enjoy the music we create and perform together and hope they share this new musical journey with us.”
