Ozzy Osbourne will join Post Malone for the live television debut of their collaboration “Take What You Want” at the American Music Awards later this month.

The performance will mark Ozzy’s first public performance in months after the singer battled the illness and injury earlier this year which led to the postponement of his 2019 touring. According to Post Malone, Ozzy had stated that the collaboration was his “favorite” appearance he’s done “since Sabbath.”

According to BillboardGreen Day will also perform at the American Music Awards. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 1994 album Dookie, with a performance of “Basket Case" while also bringing things back to the present with their most recent single “Father of All…”

The American Music Awards combines Pop and Rock artists into the same category, which leads to the likes of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish being up Best Pop/Rock Album. Panic at the Disco and Imagine Dragons are the lone rock acts with AMA nominations. Panic are up for three awards, including Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock and Favorite Artist Alternative Rock, while Imagine Dragons have one nod and are also vying for Favorite Artist Alternative Rock.

Post Malone is nominated for seven awards, including Favorite Artist, Favorite Album – Hip-Hop and Favorite Male Artists – Pop/Rock. The American Music Awards will be handed out at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Nov. 24 at 8PM ET on ABC.

Meanwhile, Ozzy Osbourne has rescheduled his European tour with Judas Priest. The outing kicks off Oct. 23 in Newcastle, England. He also released dates stateside for his No More Tours 2 outing with Marilyn Manson, which launches on May 27, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia.
