Papa Roach fans, we’ve got some good news! Frontman Jacoby Shaddix tweeted today (Oct. 17) that the band has confirmed plans to return to the studio on Nov. 1

"We start in the studio Nov 1st," writes Shaddix. "Time to get creative. So stoked!

The band had previously announced tentative plans to head into the studio at the end of the year and now the date has been set! In a recent interview with Loudwire, Shaddix said, “We just want to make the record of our career. That’s the goal and we’re always trying to do that and every time we make a record we have a chance to do that.”

The band wrapped up their co-headlining Rock Allegiance Tour with Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, P.O.D., Crossfade, Red and Drive A in late September and were looking forward to a little post-tour downtime.

The band owns their own studio in Sacramento, Calif., so they can get comfy, settle in and let the creative juices flow.

When asked what the next 10 years hold for the band, Shaddix told us, "Probably some more rock ‘n’ roll tours, more rock ‘n’ roll hits and hopefully some legendary shows and good times, that’s what we want — we want a career. “

Which Papa Roach album do you hope the new material sounds most like?
