Will we ever get a Skid Row reunion of the original band members? Perhaps not, but it's not from a lack of trying on Sebastian Bach's part.

The singer recently announced plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band's self-titled debut, performing the record in full at his upcoming shows, and he tells radio host Eddie Trunk (as transcribed by Blabbermouth) that there's an "open invitation" to his former bandmates to come join in if they want to.

"This record is near and dear to everyone's heart the world over, and I'm finding this out by announcing this tour. It's just crazy. The people are freaking out," stated Bach. "I would like to say right here right now [to] any original member in Skid Row— there's five people in the world that can say that. We all know who the five guys are that made that record. I have an open invitation out to any of those guys, if they would like to get onstage and jam. I don't foresee that happening, but I'm throwing it out there."

"The bottom line is you only get so many '30 years's," he laughed. "It doesn't roll around too often — a 30-year anniversary. So, would I like to celebrate it with the original members? Yes, I would. Of course I would. But who knows if I'm gonna get hit by a truck tomorrow. So we're kind of like getting older now. So we can either shit or get off the pot [laughs], I think the saying goes."

Bach's exit from the band in 1996 was not on the best of terms, and while there were talks a few years back of reuniting, nothing ever came to fruition. However, that hasn't kept the singer from discussing his desire to celebrate the band's past and express his frustration over how their catalog has been handled.

Not only will Bach and his band be playing the self-titled debut in full at shows, but the musician has also revealed that fans in Los Angeles will also get a full album performance of Slave to the Grind during the band's stop at the Whisky-a-go-go. Bach's tour will start Aug. 30 in Nashville, wrapping a few months later on Nov. 2 in Pinellas Park, Florida.

In addition, it looks like there's a possibility of Bach re-ordering the lineup of the songs for the set, but he's sought input from the fans on the decision.

Skid Row's self-titled debut went five-times platinum in the U.S., yielding the singles "Youth Gone Wild," "18 and Life" and "I Remember You." Meanwhile, the follow-up Slave to the Grind, was a double-platinum certified album stateside, featuring the title track, plus "Monkey Business," "Wasted Time" and "In a Darkened Room."
