Texas Hippie Coalition, Eve To Adam + More Steal Fans Hearts With the Highway Robbery Tour
Texas Hippie Coalition brought their Southern charm to New York City Saturday (July 29) at Gramercy Theater in New York City. Eve To Adam, Eye Ra Haze and Black Water Rising served as support and added to the rock 'n' roll party.
Frontman Big Dad Rich of Texas Hippie Coalition is a hefty man with an even bigger personality. His charisma and down to earth personality onstage is just as magnetic as his larger than life voice. As a whole, the band’s spirit and fortitude are evident in their performance. When Texas Hippie Coalition come to town, it’s bound to be a good time.
The hometown guys of Eve To Adam put on one hell of a show as they are touring in support of their forthcoming record ‘Locked & Loaded,’ which is due out Sept. 17. No doubt the band, hailing from Astoria, Queens, were locked and loaded as they performed with some serious power. Most of their set was made up of newer tunes but they performed a memorable rendition of Billy Idol’s ‘Rebel Yell.’
Fellow New York band Eye Ra Haze served as support and they are definitely a band to watch. The women in the group are not only spellbindingly gorgeous but they are also very talented. Eye Ra Haze’s set offered a different vibe to the night and their sound is a unique one.
Black Water Rising kicked off the night and this batch of Brooklyn boys made their city proud as they played some heavy tunes and got the blood pumping early on. The band is currently trekking around to support their new record ‘Pissed and Driven’ due out Aug. 13. Go here to see the remaining dates of the Highway Robbery tour.
