Get ready, there's a wave of heaviness ready to hit and it's coming straight from Within the Ruins. The band is teaming up with Loudwire to exclusively premiere their new video for "Objective Reality."

The clip is mostly a performance piece with some stunning visual effects. Director Justin Reich opens the video with close-up shots of the band members and their instruments as little particles float through the air around them. It fits perfectly with the dream-like string sounds and melodic open to the sound. But it's not long before the killer low end and heaviness of their sound kicks in, with the visual seemingly bending to the pummeling sound waves delivered by the group.

"We're really proud of this video," says guitarist Joe Cocchi. "Justin did a really good job and was terrific to work with, enjoy!"

"Objective Reality" joins "Beautiful Agony" and "Death of the Rockstar" as songs getting early previews from the band's new album, Halfway Human, which is due tomorrow (March 3) via Good Fight Music and eOne in North America and overseas.

The band worked on the album with Cocchi taking on production. Jim Fogarty added his assistance on vocal production at Zing Studios in Westfield, Mass., while the disc was mixed and mastered by Joshua Wickman at Dreadcore Productions.

"The writing process was a bit different for this album," says Cocchi. "We took a step back and kind of reviewed some of our older material. Typically we'd rush and blast out a group of songs and then hit the studio. At the time it felt right. And It had a more organic feel. Now because of a combination of maturity and honestly just feeling sick of the same old formula, we really focused on creating something different sounding." The disc is currently available to pre-order via iTunes or in physical bundle options.

The band is currently out on the road in support of the new LP with friends in Born Of Osiris on "The New Reign Tour." Click here for all tour dates.
