Anthrax have been confirmed for a Sept. 7 appearance on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' (actually 12:30 AM ET on Sept. 8). The band will perform 'The Devil You Know,' the first single off their forthcoming album ‘Worship Music,’ which drops Sept. 13, and a classic song that will be shown exclusively on the 'Late Night' website.

Also on Sept. 7, at 8 PM ET, Anthrax will treat New York-area fans to a meet-and-greet session at the Apple Store in the city’s Soho neighborhood. The band will be discussing how Mac computers revolutionized the process of recording music in general and making their 'Music' album in particular.

As previously announced, the following week, Anthrax will hit the stage of NYC's Yankee Stadium as part of the ‘Big 4′ tour with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth when it rolls into town on Sept. 14. That stop will be especially meaningful for Anthrax, the only Big Apple-based band on the bill.

"We're a New York band, I'm a crazy Yankee fan, and we're playing Yankee Stadium," guitarist Scott Ian recently told Rolling Stone. "Those three things add up to a perfect storm of insanity."

Drummer Charlie Benante remembers his father, who passed away when Benante was only 5 years old, as a huge Yankees fan. "I know he would have been so proud of me playing Yankee Stadium," the stickman says. "I know that in some way, he'll be there, giving me the power I'll need to knock it out of the park."
