Axl Rose has a reputation for being a firecracker. His remarks throughout the years have grabbed headlines and while he's been mostly mild-mannered since Guns N' Roses embarked on the "Not in This Lifetime" tour, reuniting with Slash and Duff McKagan, he hasn't been shy about taking aim at the Trump administration. This time, he took a shot at White House press secretary Sarah Sanders' recent comments about Trump's ability to lead.

Amidst reports of chaos from the White House and questions about Trump's mental capacity to handle the position of being the leader of the free world, Sanders clapped back at the President's detractors. "It's disgraceful and laughable," she said (via CNN). "If he was unfit, he probably wouldn't be sitting there, wouldn't have defeated the most qualified group of candidates the Republican Party has ever seen."

The GN'R frontman wasn't having any of it though. "Along with several other condescending adjectives the current WH has no room to call virtually anyone disgraceful," tweeted Rose, who quickly added, "The [White House] is the current U.S. gold standard of what can be considered disgraceful."

This isn't the first time the singer has taken a shot at the Trump administration. During the height of the "Take a Knee" movement populated by NFL players protesting the National Anthem for political and civil reasons, Vice President Mike Pence turned up at an Indianapolis Colts game against the San Francisco 49ers, the latter of which notably featured a high number of protesting players. After players took a knee or demonstrated any other means of protest, Pence vacated the premises. Rose called the move a "PR stunt," noting the exorbitant $200,000-plus price tag that came with sending Pence to the game.

Meanwhile, Rose is enjoying a remarkable rebound with GN'R. The "Not in This Lifetime" tour has paraded around the globe and is now officially the fourth biggest tour... ever. The band has performed to over four million fans, raking in $475 million at the box office alone.
