The first video from Carcass' triumphant comeback album 'Surgical Steel' has been unveiled. 'Unfit For Human Consumption' features a introduction by Kirk Hammett from Metallica. Watch the video via Hammett's Fear FestEvil above, and the intro below.

As you'd expect from a death metal band like Carcass, there are some gory images in the video. From Jeff Walker's scarred face to a headless Bill Steer to a disembodied foot playing a bass drum, there are plenty of strange and disturbing shots.

So why is Hammett intoducing the video? Because Carcass will be playing next year's inaugural Kirk Von Hammett Fear FestEvil in San Francisco. The festival, which runs Feb. 6-8, will have other bands playing such as Death Angel, Orchid and Death Division.

Other musicians appearing at the event include Slash and Anthrax's Scott Ian, along with luminaries from the world of horror. Tickets for the Fear FestEvil are on sale now, and can be purchased here.

In addition to playing Fear FestEvil, Carcass will be headlining the 2014 Decibel Magazine Tour. Other bands on the trek will be the Black Dahlia Murder, Gorguts and Noisem. The tour kicks off March 18 in Orlando, Fla.
