Dead Cross Detained and Released by Police
The all-star band Dead Cross were detained by police yesterday (Aug. 15) in Houston, Texas, and later released. According to a statement by the band's publicist, Dead Cross will not be making any comment on the current situation as advised by their legal counsel. More info should be expected from the Houston Police Department after arraignment.
Dead Cross have been making waves this past year in the lead up to their debut self-titled album from Ipecac Recordings which came out earlier this month. Last June, we premiered the video for their huge track "Seizure and Desist," showing the band playing totally viciously and what the combination of its members can pulll off. The band has an insane lineup, featuring Retox's Michael Crain, The Locust's Justin Pearson, former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and Faith No More's Mike Patton on vocals.
Lombardo posted the following photo on Instagram:
It's good to know the band is okay, and it's been announced that the group will continue to hit all of their tour dates, including tonight in Austin, Texas, at Emo's.
You can pick up Dead Cross here in various digital platforms as well as physical options like colored vinyl, CD and bundle packages. The group embarked on their first-ever North American tour starting last Aug. 10 with support from Secret Chiefs 3. Head to this location for a full list of upcoming stops.
We will update this story if any new information on the band's arrest becomes available.
