Those who've dug into DevilDriver's 'Winter Kills' album since it was released in August 2013 may have caught a striking cover song on the disc. The group took on the AWOLNATION hit 'Sail,' adding their own intense stamp on the track, and Loudwire is proud to exclusively bring you the lyric video for the song in the clip above.

As can be seen in the lyric video, choppy waters churn amidst a darkened stormy sky. It certainly fits the vibe of the song. Meanwhile, a series of photos of the band in the live element also populate the screen, while the lyrics for the track also vie for viewer attention.

DevilDriver frontman Dez Fafara exclusively tells Loudwire, "We cover songs once in a while based on the song personally affecting me. This tune did just that. I relate to it in many, many ways and our fan base loved it. We made the song our own without compromising its original integrity one bit."

DevilDriver fans can hopefully look for the band incorporating 'Sail' into their sets this spring. After completing their run on the Soundwave Festival, the band heads to Japan, the U.K. and Europe. See all of their dates here.

And, if you like what you hear, 'Sail' can be found on the 'Winter Kills' album. The disc is currently available via iTunes and Amazon.
