Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan celebrates his 45th birthday on March 17. Corgan has been the mastermind for Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan, as well as releasing his own solo and soundtrack work, making him one of the most renowned figures in rock for more than 20 years.
Corgan has been all over the news recently, claiming that the music industry has been "taken over by posers" and that he would love to be an 'American Idol' or 'X Factor' judge. As much as we'd love to see him behind a table with Simon Cowell, this poll is about celebrating Corgan's accomplishments with Smashing Pumpkins.
