For Today brought their headlining tour to New York city for a crushing set in support of their brand new album, Wake. Fans packed into New York City’s Gramercy Theater for a very memorable show.

The band set it off with the favorite “Devastator” as frontman Mattie Montgomery made his way into the crowd from the beginning of the set while crowdsurfers stayed steady for the entire night. For Today cranked out new tunes like “Broken Lens,” “No Truth, No Sacrifice” and “Forced into Fire” off Wake.

For Today’s music is rooted in Christianity, but it doesn't matter what your beliefs are when it comes to enjoying their live performance. The band ended their set with the aptly titled “Fearless."

The Texas boys of Fit For a King took the stage beforehand for and energetic set. Vocalist Ryan Kirby was all smiles between spewing out lyrics when he saw the zealous reaction of the crowd. “This is what coming to shows Kirby stated “This is what coming to shows is all about, moving around and having a good time” and fans surely did.

Halfway through the night, Alabama metal and hardcore act Gideon delivered a commanding set. West Coast bands Phineas and Silent Planet kicked off the night with lively performances of their own.
