Giraffe Tongue Orchestra will deliver their debut disc, Broken Lines, this Friday (Sept. 23), but being as the band consists of musicians who play with other well known acts, it was uncertain whether the band would tour in support of the album. However, the band has just announced a late fall run in support of the Broken Lines disc.

The trek kicks off Nov. 29 in Boston, with a brief run carrying over through Dec. 10 in Detroit. The tour will hit such major markets as New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle along the way. All of the band's tour dates are listed below. Tickets for the trek will go on sale this Friday (Sept. 23).

Giraffe Tongue Orchestra is made up of Alice in Chains' William DuVall, Dillinger Escape Plan's Ben Weinman, Mastodon's Brent Hinds, Dethklok's Pete Griffin and The Mars Volta's Thomas Pridgen. The Broken Lines album, which can be pre-ordered here, also includes guest appearances from Juliette Lewis and Queens of the Stone Age drummer Jon Theodore.

In other Giraffe Tongue Orchestra news, the band recently released a new video for the song "Blood Moon." A rather bloody and somewhat scary new clip for the track can be seen below.
