Rockers We’ve Lost in 2013: Eyehategod’s Joey LaCaze

Eyehategod drummer Joey LaCaze passed away from respiratory failure on Aug. 23. LaCaze was 42 years old and left behind a wife and a child.

Various news sources wrote that cancer may have been the cause of LaCaze's death, but respiratory failure was confirmed to be the reason LaCaze passed. The drummer was a true pioneer of southern sludge metal and an integral part of Eyehategod.
