ShipRocked 2015 Day 4: Limp Bizkit, Metal Allegiance, Black Label Society, Tremonti + More
The final full day of ShipRocked was spent at sea, and there was so much to do aboard the Norwegian Pearl. Despite the rain dampening plans of all the performances that were supposed to take place on the Deck Stage outside, indoor locations were found for the bands to rock out and there was plenty more things for ShipRockers to do.
Meet and greets started early as fans lined up well before 10 AM to take photos with Tremonti, all of the legends in Metal Allegiance and Nonpoint. The Spinnaker Lounge was rarely empty on this last day as Black Label Society, Limp Bizkit, P.O.D. and Zach Myers also met with fans.
In the evening, Crobot not only invaded the Spinnaker Lounge for an awesome game of Beer Pong but they also performed their second set of the cruise as well. Of course, the party continued as long as Wilson was on the boat, as they performed their last show of the cruise, too.
With the Deck Stage closed for business due to heavy amounts of rain, the rest of the ship definitely saw its share of performances. The Atriums Stage in the lobby hosted everyone from Tremonti, Otherwise, and Thousand Foot Krutch to 3 Years Hollow and Zach Myers of Shinedown perform.
Stardust Theater saw the notable and legendary Living Colour, who performed their last incredible set of the cruise.
Speaking of icons, every musician who was part of Metal Allegiance gave fans a performance of a lifetimes as hundreds of ShipRockers belted out prominent anthems by Metallica, Kiss and Pantera which echoed all throughout Stardust Theater.
If your ears finally stopped ringing from the first Black Label Society performance, there’s a good chance the ringing continued well after Black Label’s second performance in which Zakk Wylde and company brought the heavy.
The last performance was fitting, as Limp Bizkit took the stage at the Stardust Theater at midnight. It was an all-out party that continued well through the night.
The ShipRockers who caught any sleep woke up in sunny Miami the next day hungover, sore, partially deaf and completely overjoyed. We CANNOT wait until ShipRocked 2016, we’ll be counting down the days until then.
