Rockers We’ve Lost in 2013: Kent Abbott of Grade and Somehow Hollow
Kent Abbott, guitarist for the bands Grade + Somehow Hollow passed away on Jan. 7 at the age of 32. Abbott was a member of pinnacle Canadian hardcore band Grade, who released five full-length albums considered to be underground hardcore gems. Abbott joined Grade toward the end of the band's active career, which ended in 2002.
Abbott also founded pop-punkers Somehow Hollow in 2000. They released one album, 'Busted Wings and Rusted Halos' in 2003, capturing a SoCal style despite Somehow Hollow's Canadian home base.
