Who's more ready for Halloween than the Misfits? It just might be Rob Zombie, as these two duke it out in a first round slugfest to determine the Most Haunting Halloween Track!

Horror punk icons the Misfits helped spearhead the idea of celebrating Halloween all year round with their legendary brand of spooktacular songs. Sure, any Misfits songs would fit on a Halloween playlist, but, for the sake of simplicity, the only song to go with when determining the Most Haunting Halloween Track is the tune "Halloween" itself. The opening lines “Bonfires burning bright / Pumpkin faces in the night / I remember Halloween / Dead cats hanging from poles / Little dead are out in droves / I remember Halloween” are just a sample of what makes this song so great.

Rob Zombie is not only a celebrated lover of Halloween in his music, but an acclaimed director of horror films, as well. The holiday is where he lives, utilizing his art to project the imagery year round for the nearly a quarter century. “Living Dead Girl” is a downright haunting song, as the chorus is one of desire and fantasy: “Crawl on me / Sink into me / Die for me / Living Dead Girl.”
